Electrical Engineer – Training on PLC Programming £40,000 – £50,000 + overtime + great benefits Dudley, West Midlands An excellent opportunity for an electrical engineer looking to develop a career within controls and automation in a role offering PLC programming training and overtime to increase your earnings. This is a great chance to work in a varied role offering a great split between technical office based work but also remaining hands on within engineering projects. The role is for a highly established machinery manufacturer that holds an excellent reputation within its industry. You will work as part of a busy controls and automation team, tasked with the software design of a range of controls systems including PLC, HMI and SCADA systems. You will receive training and support to be able to program systems from scratch and will also support on site commissioning of all developed systems. This is a great chance to work in a highly technical role offering great training, day to day variation and overtime opportunities both within the office and out on site. This role would suit someone who has a background in electrical engineering, ideally someone who has had some amount of experience working with PLCs and has a genuine interest in developing a career within controls and automation. The Role: • PLC Software Engineer – working for an established manufacturing company • Designing and developing a range of PLC, HMI and SCADA systems. • Mon-Fri office based role with some on site commissioning work.
