About the role
As an Assessor /Tutor / Mentor you will deliver high quality Coaching and Mentoring qualifications to apprenticeship learners, providing structured, end-to-end support throughout their development journey. You will play a key role in empowering learners to achieve their Coaching & Mentoring qualifications by delivering tailored one-to-one sessions to support both their personal and professional growth.
This role requires proven experience in coaching and mentoring, with a track record of guiding individuals to successful outcomes in a learning or workplace setting.
- You will apply the most current, evidence based approaches to ensure each learner can apply their knowledge confidently and progress effectively.
- The apprenticeship programme blends practical experience with theoretical learning, and your expertise will be critical in helping learners translate theory into impactful workplace practice.
Your impact
- Deliver training programmes to assigned learners/clients ensuring the highest possible standards are achieved.
- Complete Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and outline personalised learning pathways
- Reference and evaluate evidence collected in the workplace to meet key skill requirements.
- standards by adapting to learner needs.
- Maintain accurate records of learner attendance and guided contact hours, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
- Contribute to the planning, monitoring, and achievement of set performance targets.
- Arrange additional training through day release and provide in-house training support as needed.
- Keep detailed records of leaner achievements to meet the performance criteria established by relevant awarding bodies.
- Cover a regional area and travel to learners workplaces for assessments.
What are we looking for?
Essential:
- A1 Assessor Award, TAQA, CAVA, or equivalent is ideal but will provide the qualification for a candidate with the right experience
- Proven occupational complete and experience in Coaching & Mentoring
- Experience in an apprenticeship setting.
- Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check (cost covered by the company) and EWC registration.
- Welsh speaking is desirable.
