We’re working with a top-tier consultancy supporting large-scale enterprise transformation across the UK. Their focus is on delivering complex cloud-based solutions through innovation, collaboration, and structured service delivery. This is a key opportunity for a Workday HCM Consultant at the Assistant Manager level to join a high-performing team delivering end-to-end HR transformation projects across a diverse client portfolio.

As a Workday HCM Consultant, you’ll bring your hands-on Workday expertise to support the implementation and evolution of enterprise HR platforms. You’ll be responsible for leading client-facing workstreams, managing offshore teams, and contributing directly to the successful configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday HCM solutions. This is a role for someone who thrives in a delivery-driven environment and wants to play a strategic part in future-proofing HR functions for leading businesses.

Your responsibilities as Workday HCM Consultant include:

  • Leading client-facing workshops and driving key discussions on business process and system configuration
  • Taking ownership of the full delivery lifecycle of assigned Workday HCM workstreams
  • Managing and mentoring offshore teams through the design, configuration, and testing phases
  • Translating client needs into scalable and best-practice-led solutions aligned to Workday capability
  • Producing detailed project documentation including requirements, configuration specs, and process flows
  • Staying up to date with Workday product updates and ensuring solution alignment with evolving capabilities

Your previous experience as Workday HCM Consultant will include:

  • Certified in Workday Core HCM module
  • Strong functional understanding of Workday HCM implementations, ideally across multiple modules
  • Proven ability to deliver end-to-end workstreams with client and offshore team coordination
  • Familiarity with industry standards and key delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
  • Experience in generating high-quality project documentation and ensuring traceability throughout
  • Confident communicator who can engage senior stakeholders and represent the team effectively

Desirable experience:

  • Certifications in additional Workday modules (Learning, Talent, Absence, Payroll)
  • Exposure to pre-sales activity and client solutioning
  • Mentorship or coaching experience with junior consultants or graduates
