YOUR IMPACT The Asset and Wealth Management Division β Private (AWM Private) Real Estate Operations team is seeking a Senior Analyst to join the London Real Estate Execution and Closing team offering dedicated support for the AWM Private Real Estate investing platform. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years of experience supporting commercial real estate related transactions. Experience with both direct real estate transactions, lending/borrowing, Equity and Fixed Income transactions is preferred. AWM Private is focused on a wide range of real estate activities and transactions, including acquisition, disposition, financing (both lending and borrowing), construction, development, and asset management. Real Estate Assets include office, retail, multifamily, hospitality and industrial. The position will provide support for many facets of the execution and middle office processes related to these types of transactions, as well as general transaction project management. Excellent organizational, project management and customer service skills are required. The candidate must be a self-starter, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be proficient in Word and Excel, and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment. HOW YOU WILL FULFIL YOUR POTENTIAL This is an exceptionally diverse role that entails collaboration with Investing Professionals, Portfolio & Asset Managers, Capital Markets, Strategists, Controllers, Legal, Engineering, Risk, Credit, Tax, Compliance & cross Operational groups. The successful individual will be expected to work in a team of professionals and be able to be commercial, critical & creative whilst ensuring the highest level of risk management. Gain an in depth & comprehensive understanding of a wide range of real estate investments, processes, bespoke transactions, and corporate practices / governance. Partner with the Business and Federation to provide subject matter and system knowledge expertise. Leverage your skills to support the booking, closing & settlement of time-sensitive complex transactions. Support regulatory reporting for real estate investing portfolios. Create and maintain investment reference data across multiple systems to support accurate trade and risk calculations. Support trade booking for internal risk representations of investments. Payment support for new investments and ongoing cash management functions associated with hard real estate assets. Exhibit excellent judgement & critical thinking skills, particularly in the context of a new or bespoke transactions or workflows. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR Prior knowledge of Commercial Real Estate Loans, Equities, Bonds and Derivatives preferred. Critical thinking, strong problem solving and presentation skills. High attention to detail. Innate curiosity and drive. Able to work well in a team environment, cross teams, and regions. Systems-oriented with creative and analytical skills with ability to create innovative solutions. Candidate must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Confident in their verbal and written communication. Able to manage multiple stakeholders, including third party consultants and has well-developed organization sensitivity.
