The predicted salary is between 50000 - 60000 £ per year.

We are looking for a qualified social worker with at least two years' experience within a statutory front door setting. The role will include supporting two practitioner managers who are responsible for the screening and decision making of referrals. The role will include:

  • Undertaking complex enquiries,
  • Supporting and guiding social care officers with enquiries,
  • Attendance at multi agency meetings such as MARAC and MARAC dailies.
  • Supporting with the development of a consultation line / consultations with professions to offer advice and guidance around referrals and processes.

This is a new role within the team; as such it is a developing role where the remit of work may change however the focus will remain on supporting activity at the front door to ensure timely and robust decision making.

  • A relevant Social Work Qualification
  • Registration with Social Care Wales
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
  • 3 Years of referencing
  • Driving license with access to a car
