Job Title: SAP Functional Lead

Our client, an aerospace MRO company providing services across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, is seeking a SAP Functional Lead to join their team. They offer integrated solutions and exceptional customer support to operators of their products.

Role Responsibilities:

• Manage key user forums and lead system evolution: Oversee change projects with external service providers, ensuring successful testing and implementation.
• Administer SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud: Manage system performance, develop workflows, and maintain the environment.
• Security and Compliance: Implement security measures, manage access controls, segregation of duties, and ensure GDPR adherence.
• Database Management: Handle database administration tasks, maintain report templates, and develop new reports.
• Support and Troubleshooting: Resolve SAP S/4HANA issues collaboratively with stakeholders and service providers.
• Upgrades and Lifecycle Management: Lead system upgrades, patches, and migrations with minimal disruption.
• Integration and Automation: Integrate SAP S/4HANA with other systems and automate processes.
• Training and Documentation: Develop documentation and train users for proficient system use.
• License and Cloud Credit Management: Manage SAP licenses and optimize BTP Cloud Credit usage.

Qualifications:

• Master\’s degree in Database or Business Administration or related experience
• 5+ years in database administration, preferably SAP
• Knowledge of database concepts, migration, performance tuning, backup/recovery
• Understanding of financial and business processes
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, adaptable to different audiences
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is a plus
• Willingness to travel as required
