Great opportunity for a Senior HGV Technician to join a stable company who offer growth and progression as a Night Shift Workshop Supervisor.
Location: Near West Bromwich
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 pa plus overtime, negotiable depending on skills and experience.
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday - 18:00pm - 06:00am inclusive of a 1hr paid break.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure the Health, Safety & Welfare standards are always met.
- Ensure company policy & safe working practices are adhered to.
- Supervise, allocate and prioritise workload for maximum efficiency.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained via regular quality checks.
- Sign off inspection & service documentation, ensuring compliance.
- Guide & advise workforce, making decisions where necessary.
- Ensure all paperwork is accurately completed in a timely manner.
- Communicate with customers (internal & external).
- Ensure accurate time keeping & control idle time / productivity.
- Carry out inspection, servicing, maintenance & fault diagnostics.
- Assist the parts team in allocation of parts.
Experience / Skills:
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to supervise a team.
- Ability to work as a team player within a busy department.
- Ability to work unsupervised and adhere to strict deadlines.
- Ability to work calmly in an environment that can be pressured.
- Ability to communicate at all levels.
Particular experience / skills that will be regarded as ideal:
- Technical qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician) or proven experience repairing & maintaining vehicles.
- Current driving licence (HGV advantageous).
- IRTEC inspection licence.
- Previous Supervisor role/ experience.
