We are a friendly GP Surgeryset within a vibrant, multicultural and expanding area in Tottenham, NorthLondon.

We are looking for a highlyorganised and enthusiastic individual to join our existing nursing team of 2 PracticeNurses and 1 Health Care Assistant.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate willjoin the existing nursing team in caring for the practice population, includingtreatment, preventative care, screening and patient education., * Practice independently in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery code of conduct and with reference to practice guidelines, appropriately referring to GPs

  • Provide assessment, screening and treatment services and health education advice

  • Maintain accurate documentation of care

  • Ensure continuation of own personal and professional development

  • Any other delegated duties appropriate to the post

  • Clinical Care :

  • Management of chronic conditions

  • Cytology

  • Wound care

  • Routine immunizations / Childhood immunisations

  • Ear syringing

  • Travel Clinic

  • Removal of Sutures

  • New Patient Medicals / Urinalysis

  • Maintaining GP and Nurses rooms, stocking and rotating items as required

  • Maintain stock of waiting room leaflets

  • Ordering of Health Promotion Literature

  • Participation in administrative systems in the Practice

  • Attend and participate in any Practice meetings when required.

  • Any other delegated duties appropriate to the post

They will have a friendly andcaring attitude,energetic and enthusiastic outlook and solid clinical skills,and be able to offer an effective, quality driven service.

They will have previousexperience in General Practice and be competent in general treatment roomskills and chronic disease management., * BSc Nursing
