We are currently looking for a Science Teacher to join one of our partner secondary schools in the Coventry area to cover on a long term basis with the potential for the role to become permanent. The full time post is due to start from September 2025 with shortlisting taking place after the Easter break. The school have recently received a Good OFSTED report across all areas. The school hold high values which is hard work and equality.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • To teach Science to KS4, including full classroom responsibilities
  • To prepare students for GCSE exams, assessing progress
  • To work with students with SEN needs and a mixture of abilities

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • QTS qualification required, PGCE in Science
  • Proven experience teaching Science to KS4; ECTs welcome
  • Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum
  • Two education or school-based references where applicable
