We're now looking for an IT Training Manager to lead our clinical and IT training function, supporting General Practices across Devon. If you're passionate about improving digital confidence in primary care settings, know your way around GP clinical systems and Microsoft tools, and have a track record of leading training delivery - this could be your next step.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading a dispersed team of Clinical System Champions to deliver impactful, consistent training services across GP practices.
- Designing and delivering training solutions on key clinical systems and national applications (e.g., SCR, e-RS).
- Providing basic IT training to primary care staff - including Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - tailored to varying levels of digital literacy.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with the Integrated Care Board and other key stakeholders.
- Conducting training needs analyses and driving continuous improvements in service delivery.
- Managing budgets, resources, and reporting to ensure efficient operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience managing and coaching teams, with an ability to lead through influence in a matrixed environment.
- Proven experience across the full training cycle; from needs analysis to delivery and evaluation.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with e-learning and blended learning methods.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and work collaboratively across partner organisations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for building trust and engagement.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to GP practices (up to 2 days per week).
- Experience in or understanding of General Practice or the NHS is a distinct advantage.
The salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, reflecting our openness to candidates with varying levels of experience and expertise.
