The desired Cover teacher will be working in schools around the Redruth area with classes of around 30 students, with a wide range of ability levels. The role of a General Cover Teacher within a school is to support learning and manage the classroom in the absence of the Subject Teacher. A General Cover Teacher would be utilised in all aspects of the school to cover across a multitude of subjects and would be expected to provide good quality teaching and learning in the absence of the subject teacher.
The desired candidate will have experience of teaching within secondary education in their trained subject, hold QTS, and be adaptable within their practice.
