Our client based in Keighley, West Yorkshire is looking to recruit a Shipping Administrator for an immediate start. This is a temporary ongoing position.
Working as part of a busy Logistics Team duties include:
- Responsible for Web Bookings and arranging all customer collections.
- Monitor, chase and process all PODs ensuring timely updating of our internal systems and all related administrative activities in the Shipping Department.
- Working with Warehouse and Transport teams to ensure smooth and efficient movement of all shipments.
- Responsible for the transport Planning for same day collections.
- Entering and updating consignments, inputting data within our ERP system.
- Working with our customers, delivering a service and dealing with queries from all customers and Hauliers.
Experience required:
- Ideally some experience of working within a shipping environment would be desirable not essential.
- Must have previous office administration experience.
- Must have excellent attention to details and accuracy skills, coupled with computer systems.
- A proficient user of Microsoft Office packages and systems.
- Must be comfortable working at a fast pace and meeting tight deadlines.
- Must be customer centric and can demonstrate the ability to build solid working relationships with partners and customers.
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills are essential in this role.
Hours are 0815 – 1700 Monday to Thursday & 0815 – 1600 Friday = 38.5 hours per week.
Rate of Pay: £12.50 per hour.
This position is easily accessible on public transport situated in central Keighley.
