Our client is looking to recruit highly experienced Electrical Assemblers and Line Wirers to work for a busy manufacturing company on the day shift. Although advertised as Temp to Perm, these roles could become permanent from day one for the right candidates.
The role involves more than just line wiring, making it suitable for part-qualified electricians, electrician's mates, or candidates from electrical engineering backgrounds who want to work in a workshop environment away from site work. Ideal candidates must have previous electrical experience or come from an electrical manufacturing or production background, with loom experience being essential. Candidates should be able to think logically, work from schematic drawings, communicate effectively, be decisive, and work well as part of a team.
The responsibilities include:
- wiring the insides of various machines
- control panel wiring
- line wiring
- working from schematics
- numbering cables
- looming and crimping
- soldering
- testing and fault finding
- completing work to a high standard
Day shifts are available, Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week: 6am to 2.30pm from Monday to Thursday, with an 11.40am finish on Friday. Salary is circa GBP30,246 per annum, depending on experience (GBP14.91 per hour). These roles could be permanent from day one for suitable candidates.
Once permanent, the company offers additional benefits:
