Factory Cleaner

Job Type: Full-time | Temporary to Permanent Salary: £12.64 per hour Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM Location: Flitwick, Bedfordshire About the Role: Proactive Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Factory Cleaner to join a well-established manufacturing site in Flitwick. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in an industrial setting. Key Responsibilities: Carry out thorough cleaning of factory production areas, including machinery exteriors, floors, walls, and work surfaces Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly, following COSHH guidelines Empty bins, remove waste, and ensure disposal procedures are followed Replenish hygiene and cleaning supplies as needed Work to cleaning schedules and complete records/checklists accurately Adhere to all health and safety protocols and wear appropriate PPEWorking Hours: Day shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM 10-hour shifts, offering a consistent weekday scheduleCandidate Requirements: Previous cleaning experience in an industrial, factory, or warehouse environment preferred Good attention to detail and the ability to work independently Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks and prolonged standing Reliable, punctual, and proactive in maintaining cleanliness standards Must be comfortable working around production machinery (no direct machine operation involved)What\’s in it for You: £12.64 per hour – paid weekly Regular daytime hours – no weekends Supportive team and on-the-job training Long-term opportunity with potential for permanent placement Clean and well-maintained work environment Proactive Global is committed to equality in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer.
