Procurement Heads are thrilled to partner with a niche Procurement Consultancy who, following continuous growth in recent years, are looking to add two Principal Consultants to their high performing team.

Established in 2015, our client partners with over Care, Charity, and Social Housing groups across the UK, sourcing nearly £1 billion in goods and services annually for their impressive ‘household name’ clients. They are looking to engage extraordinary procurement professionals who have a drive to succeed whilst operating under the values of ‘Integrity, Fairness and Quality’.

You may be an experienced Consultant seeking the next step in your career or an experienced Procurement Professional looking to step into the world of Consultancy for the first time. What you’ll find with our client is an opportunity to work on a huge variety of projects, from large tender negotiations in the Technology, Facilities Management, HR and Professional Services space, to setting up functions from greenfield sites, delivering transformation, training and upskilling internal procurement teams following capability assessment and so much more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and project manage client delivery savings projects
  • Support cost reduction opportunity assessments
  • Deliver outcomes across the procurement lifecycle
  • Produce project updates and reporting dashboards
  • Develop effective and delighted relationships with clients
  • Identify and convert sales opportunities; account manage client relationships
  • Contribute to the enhancement of internal methodologies and operations

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrable procurement experience within the private sector, across multiple indirect categories (blue-chip or Consultancy environment)
  • Proven track record of delivering savings across multiple spend areas
  • Experience in managing supplier relationships and delivering value
  • High energy, clear communicator, confident presenter to senior stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
  • Desire to contribute to business growth
  • Account management experience
  • CIPS qualification desirable
