Vision For Education is currently recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a supportive Burnley Secondary school. This is a full-time, term-time position with flexible start dates.
About the role
Are you a Teaching Assistant or cover supervisor looking to step up to a Higher Level Teaching Assistant role? We are partnering with a Secondary School in Burnley seeking to appoint a HLTA with flexible start dates. As a HLTA, you will work directly with students to ensure they get the most from their education. The purpose of the Higher Level Teaching Assistant is to support the Class Teacher with daily classroom management and to deliver pre-set work across full classes, groups, and individual lessons in consultation with the Class Teacher across Key Stage 3 & 4. Experience is desirable but not essential, as we offer a free bespoke training program to assist with class delivery, classroom management, and establishing effective routines.
