The Role:

This is a great opportunity for a skilled Food Technology Teacher to join the school on a full-time, fixed-term basis from September through December. As the Food Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons that develop students' understanding and practical skills in food technology across Key Stages 3 to 5.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching of Food Technology to students up to Year 13.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that motivates students.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents and carers as required.

Requirements for the Food Technology Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of the curriculum up to KS5.
  • Experience relating to the job role.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service.
  • Right to Work in the UK.
  • Ability to provide two professional references from within the last two years.
