Production Support / Controller - Corrugated Packaging

(PK8820) PRODUCTION SUPPORT / CONTROLLER – CORRUGATED PACKAGING ***PROGRESSION OPPORTUNITY *** NORTH WEST / WEST MIDLANDS / NORTH WALES Salary: Depending on Experience + 20 Days Holiday Our client is a well established, independent sheet plant who specialise in bespoke conventional corrugated packaging, SRP and RRP, supplying into a variety of market sectors including the food industry. Our client is looking to recruit a Candidate to work within the Production Department, working within a Production Controller / Planner / Support role to both the Production Manager and Transport / Warehouse Manager – the aim of this role is to learn from both managers and progress long term into a Management level position. Key Responsibilities: Generate, update and monitor consistently on a day to day basis the production plan to ensure you achieve customer requirements in the most efficient manner Ensure the production capacity is not exceeded by ensuring the raw material supply does not exceed the daily limit Have a general overview to ensure you are proactive in the planning approach considering capacity limits for raw materials, production and transport Required to build a transport plan that adheres to the company\’s transport model for both sites, that ensures you are in control of their transport costs First line for communication of any late deliveries to customers via email Expected to have the vision to see further then the day to day responsibility of production and supply chain planning Analyse and report on statistical reports to identify key trends and data Responsible for co-ordinating a formal response to any customer complaintsThis is a fantastic opportunity to build a career within a very secure business, the role would suit an ambitious candidate who is keen to learn and develop their career
