TeacherActive are proud to be working with some brilliant Secondary Schools in Derbyshire and the surrounding areas. We are actively looking for cover supervisors for day to day supply work as well as long term and permanent roles.

The role of a Cover Supervisor doesn’t include planning and preparation, however strong communication and classroom management skills are a must. Your role is to ensure that students are doing the work set and behaviour in the classroom is up to a good standard.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

  • Experience working with children/in education
  • Be confident in their ability to manage a class of students within the age range 11-16
  • Be flexible to work throughout the school within different departments and with different age ranges daily
  • Excellent behaviour management
