Mechanical Engineer Canary Wharf, East London £51,000 We\’ve got a brilliant career opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join our client on a flagship site in Canary Wharf. This is not a run of the mil maintenance position, you\’ll be part of an integral M&E maintenance team on site, be provided on – going training, additional qualifications, and be part of a well experienced maintenance team. For this Mechanical Engineer role, you will be tasked with carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems, troubleshoot / fault find actively, respond to site emergencies, liaise with sub contractors and ensure the client is satisfied with the service provided. Mechanical Engineer Duties: PPM (Planned preventative maintenance) & Reactive maintenance AHUs FCUs Pumps – Bearings, Mechanical Seals, Strip down. Water Treatment (Tap Tests, Dosing, Cooling Tower Checks, etc). Cooling Towers Tap Temperatures Chilled Water Systems Plumbing Generators Pressurisation units. Mechanical Engineer Requirements: Fully qualified in a mechanical related subject (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent) At least 3 years experience as a Mechanical Engineer within commercial maintenance Strong knowledge of HVAC systems – Desirable Live within commutable distance to Canary Wharf Salary and Package: £51,000 per annum 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, Day shift only Flagship contract Leading building service provider 20 days annual leave Company pension scheme On-going training Further qualifications Overtime available Internal progression If you\’re interested in this Mechanical Engineer role, apply today with an up to date CV!
