This operations-focused position combines practical warehouse management with client-facing responsibilities. You\’ll be at the heart of my client\’s distribution operations, ensuring their products reach clients efficiently while providing exceptional service support. Key Responsibilities Hands-On Distribution Management (60%) Oversee and manage inventory in the distribution facility Process incoming deliveries of boards and posts efficiently Conduct regular stock counts and prepare materials for dispatch Arrange shipments and manage Parcelforce manifests Maintain a clean, organised and efficient distribution environment Service Support (40%) Update the internal systems with accurate information Handle customer queries professionally via phone, live chat and email Process and place orders with suppliers for stock replenishment Provide responsive customer service to clients, addressing day-to-day inquiries Follow up on outstanding requests with local suppliers Assist the Norwich centre with work lists, packing lists and client management Perform general administrative duties as required Additional Responsibilities Support the team with occasional driving duties Take on general ad hoc tasks as business needs require The Ideal Candidate Is comfortable with physical work and regular manual handling Presents themselves professionally when dealing with clients Can handle challenging customer situations with confidence and tact Possesses strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office applications Works effectively both independently and as part of a team Demonstrates excellent attention to detail Holds a full, valid UK driving licence (essential) This hands-on role offers the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys a balance of practical warehouse operations with customer service responsibilities.
