Warehouse Operative

Job Title: Warehouse Operative Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 Location: Worcester Contract Type: Full-Time | Permanent | Shift-Based Forklift Licence (desired not required) We are seeking a dedicated and safety-focused Supply Chain Operator to join our fast-paced food manufacturing site in Worcester. This role plays a key part in supporting production through accurate stock handling, material movement, and maintaining high standards in safety, hygiene, and quality. Key Responsibilities * Safely operate forklifts (reach and counterbalance) and other warehouse equipment * Supply ingredients and packaging to production lines without delays * Store and rotate stock using FIFO; maintain accurate inventory records * Complete SAP transactions, documentation, and material returns correctly * Follow all Health & Safety rules, especially when working in cold storage * Ensure hygiene and housekeeping standards are consistently met * Report quality concerns and support continuous improvement efforts * Communicate effectively during shift handovers and across departments Requirements * Valid Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Licence * Experience in warehouse, food manufacturing, or stock control (preferred) * Basic numeracy and IT/data entry skills (SAP experience a plus) * Good spoken and written English * High attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely * Flexible and proactive attitude with strong communication skills
