Our client, a well-established design & build, fit-out, and refurbishment contractor, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. With a £25M turnover and a 35-strong team, they deliver a wide range of commercial projects valued between £100k and £9M. This role has become available due to internal promotion, offering an excellent opportunity for a proven Quantity Surveyor or an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking to step up. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in commercial construction projects and be local to the Elland area.

Role Overview:
- Managing all commercial aspects of design & build, fit-out, and refurbishment projects
- Preparing cost estimates, BOQs, and procurement schedules
- Handling subcontractor negotiations, valuations, and final accounts
- Overseeing contract variations, risk management, and budget control
- Providing financial reporting and forecasting to senior management
- Ensuring projects are delivered on budget and in line with contractual requirements
- Collaborating with clients, suppliers, and project teams to maintain smooth project progress
Requirements:
- Previous experience in commercial D&B, fit-out, and refurbishment projects
- Ideally suited for a QS or a strong AQS looking to take the next step
- Strong financial and contractual knowledge
- Ability to manage multiple projects ranging from £100k to £9M
- Must be local to Elland
- Full UK driving licence
