We’re working with a specialist development finance brokerage, working with property developers across residential, commercial, and mixed use projects. They structure bespoke funding solutions using our deep network of lenders, and we’re growing. We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Development Finance Broker & Team Leader to join the dynamic team. This role blends high level broking responsibilities with team management, offering the opportunity to work on complex funding transactions while contributing to the efficiency and growth of the business.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years' experience in development finance, strong lender relationships, and a proven track record of structuring and securing funding solutions for residential, commercial, and mixed use projects. In addition to broking, you will play a key role in optimising internal processes, managing junior staff, hiring and contributing to business planning and compliance.
Responsibilities:- Minimum of 5 years' experience in development finance or a similar broking/lending role.
- Source, structure, and secure senior debt, mezzanine, and JV equity for development projects (£1m-£50m+).
- Manage transactions end to end: feasibility, due diligence, funding strategy, and completion.
- Build strong relationships with developers, lenders, and industry professionals.
- Deep understanding of lender criteria, deal structuring, and property development cycles.
- Support and mentor junior brokers and support staff, including training and quality control.
- Senior level autonomy with career growth.
- Work on high impact projects with ambitious clients.
