Job Description

We are recruiting Risk Managers / Senior Risk Managers for our Project Controls Team in Glasgow. You will be a key team member working on high-profile infrastructure projects in sectors such as energy, renewables, defence, rail, and utilities.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, assess, and prioritize threats, opportunities, and issues.
  • Maintain visibility of threat/opportunity trigger points for risk cost profiling and management actions.
  • Develop and implement measurable risk management responses and assess post-mitigation positions.
  • Monitor overall risk exposure against remaining risk budget and project timeline.
  • Produce and present risk reports to communicate threat and opportunity statuses effectively to senior management.
  • Understand and apply quantitative risk assessment techniques to inform project contingency planning, demonstrating familiarity with tools like Safran, @Risk, PRA, etc.
  • Utilize web-based reporting tools such as ARM, Xactium, Predict, Tableau, and PowerBI.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have experience in risk management on major projects or with blue-chip clients, preferably within energy, renewables, defence, rail, or utilities sectors. Certification in IRM or APM risk management is preferred.

Excellent communication skills and a commitment to innovative working methods are essential.
