A global specialist engineering and manufacturing organisation located in Farnborough are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Quality Inspector to join their business on an initial 6 month contract with the possibility of a further extension into 2026.
3 day week - Flexibility on days to suit you.
The purpose of this role will be to support the Quality department with inspection of machined components, sub assemblies and welded parts to ensure they are accurate and quality compliant. You will be using a CMM (Co-ordinate measuring machine) and the usual hand tools - Verniers, Calipers and Micrometers.
To be considered for the position you will have proven experience inspecting precision mechanical components to tight tolerances. You will also be a confident CMM user (programming not essential) and be proficient with the hand tools listed above.
