Plumber

The Role:

This is a varied role involving both reactive maintenance and new plumbing installations across the facility. You\’ll work alongside a team of engineers to ensure plumbing systems are fully functional, safe, and compliant.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine plumbing maintenance and emergency repairs

• Install new pipework, sanitary ware, and water systems

• Diagnose and resolve faults with heating and hot water systems

• Ensure compliance with health and safety and prison security protocols

• Record all work completed and report to the site supervisor

Requirements:

1. Must have valid EL1 security clearance
2. NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing or equivalent
3. Proven experience in both maintenance and installation work
4. Strong understanding of health & safety regulations
5. Ability to work independently in a secure environment
6. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
