A transport and highways consultancy, comprising 22 staff across two offices, is seeking a Senior Civil/Highways Engineer to join their transport planning team based in Fleet. The workforce is evenly split between transport planners, engineers, and directors across both offices. The company delivers a broad range of services and solutions to clients, including all aspects of transport planning, S278/S38 highway scheme design, drainage design, and environmental planning. They undertake projects across both the private and public sectors — from commercial and residential developers to local authorities. Key Responsibilities of the Senior Highways Engineer:
- Deliver highway and drainage designs to agreed programme and budget.
- Ensure all designs incorporate the requirements of relevant authorities and statutory bodies.
- Prepare, review, and approve design information and reports, providing constructive feedback.
- Ensure designs comply with MCHW, DMRB, and/or local design guidance.

- Demonstrable experience with Section 278 and Section 38 highway design schemes.
