We are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers to join a well-established transport operation based in Whittlesey. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable business on a PAYE basis with consistent work and excellent earning potential.
As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods across various routes, ensuring high levels of customer service and compliance with driving regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate Class 1 HGV vehicles safely and efficiently
- Complete deliveries and collections as scheduled
- Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects
- Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately
- Adhere to all driving regulations and company policies
- Maintain a professional and courteous manner at all times
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Minimum 6 months of Class 1 driving experience preferred
- Good understanding of UK road transport regulations
- Flexibility with working hours and occasional nights out
- No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, IN, or DD convictions)
- Weekly pay on a PAYE basis
