The successful candidate will assess, plan, and deliver specialist interventions to improve communication, language, and swallowing needs, and promote the overall wellbeing and development of each young person. Main Duties Key Responsibilities Conduct speech, language, communication assessments on all young people. Develop and implement personalised therapy plans based on each child\’s individual needs. Work collaboratively with care staff, education providers, families, and external professionals. Provide staff training and guidance to support communication-friendly environments and approaches. Monitor, evaluate, and record progress, maintaining accurate and timely documentation. Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and care planning. Support transitions, reviews, and EHCP contributions as required. Requirements Essential: * Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent) * Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) * Membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) * Experience working with children and young people with SEN, ASD, SEMH, or c omplex needs * Excellent communication, organisational, and teamworking skills * Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children Desirable: * Experience in residential or social care settings * Knowledge of AAC systems or dysphagia management * Postgraduate training in relevant therapeutic interventions What We Offer: * A supportive, values-driven working environment * A multidisciplinary team approach * Flexible working hours (where possible) * Enhanced DBS check funded by SuperCare Schedule: THIS ROLE CAN BE PART TIME OR FULL TIME COVERING MULTIPLE SITES At the moment this is a 2 day per week role based in London. If someone is looking for a FT role we can accommodate this, but they will need to be able to travel to our other satellite office in East Sussex.
