School Business Manager

Are you an experienced and dynamic professional ready to take on a key leadership role in a vibrant primary school in East London? We are seeking a School Business Manager on a one-year fixed term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the continued success of this dynamic school by overseeing all aspects of finance, human resources, IT and site management. You will lead a team of two and work closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to ensure the school runs smoothly and efficiently, enabling the best outcomes for the pupils. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and manage the school’s financial planning and budget * Oversee HR functions, including recruitment and staff welfare * Manage IT systems and ensure effective digital infrastructure * Supervise premises and site operations to maintain a safe and effective learning environment The successful School Business Manager will bring: * Proven experience in school business management or a similar role * Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills * Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive operational excellence * Commitment to the values and community of a primary school setting This is an onsite, full-time role.
