Van Driver

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for Multi-Drop Van Drivers (Days) for our clients based in Poole, Bournemputh and the surrounding areas. The role will be driving a 3.5 tonne vehicle, and making deliveries locally. This is a temporary position to start immediately, that could result in more permanent work. Requirements: You will be required to work Monday to Friday (Weekend work could be available) Start times can vary from 0700am to 0900am The shifts will be approximately 8 hours. You will be paid for a minimum of 8 hours per shift. Previous van driving experience is essential to be successful. Experience using a tail lift hand held scanner would be an advantage. Also a digi tacho card to drive with a trailer would be an advantage. The package: Pay rate: £12.21 – £14.65 per hour (dependent on contract) – non-negotiable. What you need: Full UK Licence No more than 6 points on your licence (No DD/DR). Willing and positive attitude Ability to communicate professionally with clients / customers. Ability to work within a team and alone Ability to read and understand English Reliability Benefits & Requirements: 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday) Overtime Available
