Are you a reliable and safety-conscious HGV Class 1 Driver with experience in shunting? We’re looking for a dedicated Class 1 Shunter to join our team at a busy and well-established site in Whittlesey. This position is for PAYE Drivers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Yard shunting using a Class 1 vehicle
- Safely manoeuvring trailers to and from loading bays
- Supporting loading/unloading operations as required
- Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Adhering to all site health & safety protocols
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- CPC and Digi Tacho card
- Previous shunting or yard driving experience preferred
- Flexibility to work nights on a 4 on 4 off rotation
- Good communication skills and a strong work ethic
