Looking for a new challenge within commercial maintenance? We are currently recruiting for a brilliant opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join our client's team on a critical, state of the art site based in Birmingham. You will be joining a well-renowned, market-leading building service provider, gaining exposure to a critical site and receiving all the necessary opportunities to progress further within your career!

This is a static role, following a fixed schedule of Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.

For this Electrical Engineer role, you will ensure that all planned preventive and reactive maintenance is carried out on mechanical and electrical systems on site, liaise with subcontractors, fault find, troubleshoot and carry out general maintenance duties.

Electrical Engineer Duties:
  • PPMs & Reactive maintenance
  • Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, Pumps, BMS Operation
  • Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
  • Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
  • Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
  • Completing logbooks and RAMS
  • Raise and close jobs on PDAs as necessary.
Electrical Engineer Requirements:
  • Fully qualified in electrical installations / engineering (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent / higher)
  • At least 3 years experience as an Electrical Engineer within commercial maintenance
  • Live within commutable distance to site
  • Great understanding of commercial M&E systems.
  • Experience in a critical environment would be desirable, not essential.
Salary and Package:
  • £44,000 - £47,000 per annum
  • Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
  • 25 days annual leave + Bank holidays
