Summary: Our client, a dynamic and growing technology business, is seeking an International Logistics Manager to oversee and coordinate the end-to-end movement of their products between Asia, Europe and North America. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the seamless, efficient, and timely delivery of products to global clients, working across international freight, customs, and distribution networks. This is the ideal role for a driven logistics professional who is passionate about global trade and eager to make a real impact by optimising and enhancing international supply chain operations. This is a hybrid role, with 2 days on site per week in London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end coordination of international logistics operations, ensuring products are transported safely and on time, whilst maintaining efficient route plans to optimise logistics operations.
- Prepare shipping documents and monitor deadlines.
- Liaise with freight forwarders and customs agents to track and monitor shipments, resolving any logistical issues.
- Regularly report on logistics progress and escalate any critical issues, ensuring transparency in logistics operations and timely issue resolution.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, and customer support) and manage relationships with external stakeholders.
- Use effective reporting to identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Proven experience in logistics / supply chain management, with expertise in international freight forwarding.
- Strong attention to detail in handling documentation and shipment tracking to ensure high accuracy and quality.
- A strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Working knowledge of customs regulations and import / export procedures.
- Passionate about their role and able to drive continuous improvement within the logistics structure.
