An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee six CQC-registered services supporting adults with Autism, Learning Disabilities, and behaviours that challenge. This leadership role is ideal for someone who is passionate about high-quality care and has a strong track record in coaching and developing service teams.

About the Role:

As the CQC Registered Manager, you will lead and support four Service Managers, ensuring the effective delivery of person-centred care across multiple services. You will be responsible for regulatory compliance, staff development, and driving continuous service improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hold CQC registration for supported living services
  • Lead, support, and coach 4 Service Managers to drive quality and team performance
  • Ensure all services meet regulatory, contractual, and organisational standards
  • Promote independence, choice, and well-being for individuals supported
  • Implement robust systems for safeguarding, health & safety, and risk management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders and commissioners
  • Oversee staffing levels, recruitment, and retention strategies
  • Conduct audits and implement improvement plans across services
  • Take part in the senior leadership on-call rota

About You:

  • Experience as a Registered Manager in adult social care
  • Strong background in services for autism, learning disabilities, and behaviours that challenge
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and people development skills
  • In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and best practice frameworks
  • Effective communicator with strong organisational and IT skills
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Qualifications:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent – essential)
  • Current or recent CQC registration preferred
