We are on the hunt for a passionate and driven Head Chef to take the reins of our kitchen and lead a talented team in delivering consistently exceptional, fresh food. This is a hands-on role for a chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in crafting seasonal, high-quality dishes from scratch. What You’ll Do
- Lead the kitchen team with confidence, creating a positive, collaborative culture.
- Take full ownership of fresh food preparation, ensuring every dish leaves the pass to a consistently high standard.
- Design and develop seasonally inspired menus, using the best local produce and current food trends.
- Maintain strict food safety standards and ensure the kitchen is always clean, organised, and compliant.
- Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff in fresh food techniques, efficiency, and hygiene.
- Control stock and ordering, ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly without waste.
- Work closely with the front-of-house team to deliver a seamless and memorable guest experience.
- Monitor performance and service quality, making ongoing improvements to raise the bar.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a senior kitchen role in a fresh food-led kitchen.
- Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach to training and teamwork.
- Passion for fresh, seasonal cooking and a strong eye for presentation and detail.
- Up-to-date knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen best practices.
- Confident communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally with the FOH team.
- Culinary qualifications are welcome, but experience, attitude, and passion are key.
