We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Support Manager to join a well-established nursery based in Bristol. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on management style and a genuine passion for working in early years.

Person Specification:

  • Level 3 Childcare qualification or above
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of Early Years Regulations and track record of involvement in Ofsted Inspections

Some of the Nursery Area Manager responsibilities will include:

  • To support managers across multiple settings and ensure nursery operations meet regulations
  • Working closely with director and managing KPI’s
  • Building positive relationships with parents and key interfacing groups
  • Managing site managers and ensuring facilities deliver effective service
  • Ensuring appropriate recruitment, induction, ongoing supervisions, regular staff assessments and staff training needs are met
  • Supervision of the planning and preparation of activities in line with EYFS to develop all aspects of the child's interindividual learning and development
  • Ensuring staff understand and adhere to all nursery policy and procedures
  • Managing budgets and keeping accurate records of staffing, payroll, banking, petty cash, issuing invoices and fee collection
  • To attend out of working hours’ activities, to include training, staff meetings, parents’ evenings and special events
  • Working term time, 40 Hours per week.
