We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Traffic Marshal to join our team for a new build housing project in Knaresborough. This is a short-term role, offering an excellent opportunity to work on a busy and dynamic construction site.
Position: Traffic Marshal
Location: Knaresborough, North Yorkshire
Duration: 4 weeks
Pay: £16.50 Umbrella payment per hour
Shift: 07:30 - 16:30, Monday to Friday
Start Date: Monday (Immediate start)
Requirements:
- NPORS or CPCS Traffic Marshal qualification required
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage vehicle and pedestrian traffic on-site to ensure smooth flow and safety
- Direct vehicles and site traffic in a safe and efficient manner
- Ensure all site traffic regulations are followed
- Liaise with site management to ensure safe access and egress to and from the site
- Communicate effectively with site workers and visitors to maintain safety standards
- Carry out regular checks to ensure site traffic areas are clear and safe
Essential Requirements:
- Valid NPORS or CPCS Traffic Marshal certification
- Previous experience working as a Traffic Marshal on construction sites
- Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm and professional in busy environments
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Good knowledge of site safety protocols and regulations
