Our client is a specialist OEM based in Billingshurst. They specialise in manufacturing bespoke sheet metal and metal fabricated products which are sold nationally and internationally.
With a workshop team of 8-10 operatives with skills in sheet metal fabrication, welding, assembly, and polishing, they are looking for an experienced production manager to take over and improve systems and efficiencies in the production process.
With an understanding of working with ERP and SAP systems, and collaborating with sales and purchasing divisions to organise and streamline operations, you will play a key role in helping to grow the £1M turnover over the next few years.
You will already have a manufacturing and engineering background, with demonstrable skills in managing a production department. You will know about manufacturing efficiencies and processes (Lean Management, Six Sigma, ISO9001), have management experience, and possess a motivational, positive, can-do approach to solving problems.
