This successful tour operator offers a range of worldwide touring holidays and is now looking for a Fares & Ticketing Executive. This is a varied role based in the aviation department dealing with all things fares and ticketing on Amadeus GDS. The role offers office or hybrid working, with fully home-based being considered for experienced candidates. This is a Monday to Friday role with a salary of up to £35k.
Role & Responsibilities:
- To act as the Amadeus GDS specialist within the flights team
- Issuing BSP tickets via Amadeus for both individual and group bookings
- Reissues, refunds, CAT35 fares, ADM's, BSP reporting, upgrades
- Manage flight allocations and action major and minor flight schedule changes
- Build relationships with suppliers and liaise with them directly
- Loading flights into the operating system and keep all information current
- Research alternatives routes where needed
Skills & Experience Required:
- Amadeus GDS proficiency
- Fares and Ticketing level 1 and 2 or equivalent experience
- Experienced in working in an air operations, fares & ticketing or business travel consultant role
- Understanding of group flights
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Knowledge and understanding of scheduled airline contracts
Additional information:
- Salary circa £28k to £35k dependent on experience
- Monday-Friday 08.45 AM to 17.30 PM
- Birthday off
