A well-respected and expanding engineering company, specialising in automatic entrance systems is seeking experienced Automatic or Multi-skilled Door Engineers to join the team in the Greater London area.
As an Automatic Door Engineer, this role will include the following duties:
- Installation, service and maintenance of automatic door systems, in line with relevant industry standards
- Work on a wide range of manufacturers products, both electronic and mechanical
- Fault finding, diagnosis and the recommendation of accurate and effective solutions for customers
- Working alone as part of a wider team β remotely throughout the Greater London area
- Utilising iPad / tablet to log job information and updates etc.
- Communicating regularly and professionally with the office, customers and colleagues
Successful candidates will have:
- A minimum of 2 yearsβ experience as an Automatic Door Engineer / Technician is required
- Industrial door experience is desirable but NOT essential
- A EN:16005 or BS:7036 qualification is a requirement
- CSCS card is required
- An IPAF licence is desirable but NOT essential
- Experience working on tablets such as iPad
- IT literate - excel, outlook, customer portals, etc
- Self-motivation to carry out timely work to a high standard
- Excellent communication skills with both internal and external contacts
What is on offer:
- An OTE package of Β£60,000 per annum inclusive of up to Β£4,000 per annum London Weighting payment (depending on home postcode), door to door payment, regular overtime & on-call rota
- 45 hours per week
