Hello All, Leo Recruits are working with a prestigious hotel in Surrey who are currently on a drive to set the standards of excellence in the luxury sector of the hotel industry. Located in a stunning setting, the hotel employs some of the most skilled, professional and dedicated people that the industry.

The successful Assistant Night Manager will be expected to:

  • Report to the Night Manager and the other Front of House Management
  • Be responsible for assisting in the smooth running of the reception desk between the hours of 22:45 and 07:15.

About the Assistant Night Manager Position:

  • Elmbridge district of Surrey
  • Full Time (40hrs pw)
  • Rota: 5 days on 2 days off
  • Β£27,000 (Annual Salary)
  • ASAP start
  • Permanent

Assistant Night Manager Skills & Specification:

  • Hotel reception experience for a minimum of four years
  • Knowledge of four-star hotel standards
  • At least one year's experience of a similar role
  • A friendly, welcoming and customer focussed approach and providing a consistently high standard of customer service
  • High standard of spoken and written English
  • High standard of presentation and etiquette
  • Hospitality qualification or working towards would be desirable
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and challenging situations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including telephone manner
  • Good administrative skills
  • Good team working skills
  • Working knowledge of Opera PMS would be an advantage
  • Commit to continuous personal development

Assistant Night Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing a friendly, welcoming and efficient service to all guests in line with the hotel vision and values
  • Ensure all guest requests and enquiries are handled professionally, providing callers with comprehensive information regarding hotel services
  • To transfer incoming calls to the relevant department or take a message in their absence
  • Ensure all requests are recorded and actioned in accordance with company policy and in an efficient and courteous manner
  • To be aware at all times of current business targets and to focus at all times on achieving these targets
  • To deputise for the Night Manager and act as Duty Manager in their absence
  • Ensure night audit is completed and correct
  • Assist with training and onboarding new joiners
  • Assist in ensuring the security of the hotel, guests and staff during the night
