Responsibilities in your new role as Warehouse & Forklift Operative:
As a key team member, you will be responsible for a variety of general warehouse duties that involve physical handling of products, materials, supplies, and equipment. You will operate industrial power equipment, restock and replenish items as necessary, and transport raw materials, finished goods, and more to designated areas. Maintaining an orderly and clean work area in compliance with Company Health and Safety requirements is essential. You'll also carry out accurate stock counts, manage documentation, enter transactions into the Operating System, track receipts and shipments, and ensure data integrity is maintained at all times. Flexibility to fill in for other positions within the business, when necessary, is important.
Your personality, experience and qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience. A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence. Experience using computer stock control systems is crucial. You should be meticulous, organised, and thrive under pressure, with a solid understanding of warehouse procedures and documentation. A commitment to excellence and efficiency will set you apart in this role.
