A secondary school in Northampton is looking to appoint a design technician to start as soon as possible. You will work 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year. Your tasks will include:

1. Supporting teaching and learning throughout the Design Faculty.
2. General faculty administration tasks.
3. Monitoring stock levels of materials, tools, and equipment, and re-ordering as necessary to ensure value for money.
4. Checking and maintaining hand tools and machinery for safe use.
5. Monitoring health and safety, including conducting checks and external servicing.
6. Attending and updating data courses as required for the safe use and maintenance of machinery.

We are looking for someone who:

• Enjoys being part of a team.
• Is highly organized.
• Can work under pressure, especially during busy times such as exam periods and exhibitions.
• Is flexible.

Experience would be advantageous, but full training will be provided.
