This is a varied and rewarding role where you will collaborate with travel trade partners, suppliers, and industry experts to showcase overseas destinations while driving innovative strategies to achieve client objectives.
Salary of £32k to £35k, hybrid working in Sussex.
Role & Responsibilities:- Support the Account Director in developing clients’ annual plans while executing activity programmes to achieve set goals and objectives.
- Coordinate and deliver sales and training programmes to the travel trade, representing clients at meetings, roadshows, and events.
- Identify and implement promotional, joint marketing, and sponsorship opportunities in line with clients' brand values.
- Oversee assigned client social media accounts, ensuring effective postings, monitoring, and reporting.
- Organise and attend client events, including trade shows, exhibitions, roadshows, and networking sessions.
- Manage budgets effectively, track expenditure, and oversee administrative tasks.
- Plan and escort overseas familiarisation trips, approximately two per year.
- Create marketing materials, including e-newsletters and trade mailers.
- Contribute ideas for new client pitches and expand industry contacts.
- Provide administrative support, including answering calls and general office tasks.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the travel industry in a similar role, such as destination representation, account management, or trade sales.
- Marketing or PR experience is advantageous, with knowledge of social media strategies and joint marketing initiatives.
- Confident in presenting and delivering training sessions to trade partners.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills with clients, suppliers, and trade partners.
- Highly organised, with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Flexible, self-motivated, and adaptable to working across multiple projects and attending events across the UK and overseas.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Valid driving license.
- Salary: £32k to £35k, depending on experience.
- Enjoy flexible hybrid working - 2 days in the West Sussex office and 3 days from home after initial training.

- This is an exciting role which includes attendance at a variety of shows and events, including weekend and evening shows, exhibitions, roadshows, overseas events & fam trips.
