LOCATION: Wednesfield Technology Primary

SALARY: Band B SCP 2 - 4 £23,656 - £24,404 per annum pro rata (£4,186 - £4,318 per annum)

HOURS: 7.5 hours per week (11:30am - 1:00pm) - Term Time only

The successful candidate will be responsible for the supervision of children at lunch time, as well as overseeing playground duty and wet play. They will be a committed and enthusiastic individual, keen to make an impact on the lives of our children. They will be able to work as part of a collaborative team and also take initiative where necessary. They need to be excellent communicators to help ensure that our catering operation is organised and successful.

Main Duties:
  • Supervise and control students in the dining areas, within the school and in the playground areas
  • Deal with incidents of behaviour according to the school policy
  • Assist in the preparation and tidying up of supervised areas
  • Promote good behaviour, polite table manners and social skills within the dining area and around school
  • Organising games and activities in line with school's policy for enrichment activities

Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects its entire staff to share this commitment. All post-holders will be required to have an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), including a Children's Barred List check for post carrying out a regulated activity.
