The purpose of the Role: The role is to support Northamber reach their revenue and customer growth objectives through acting as the subject matter expert for WatchGuard portfolio to both new and existing customers. This person will drive the WatchGuard business in the UK and within Northamber, by identifying new areas of growth within our partners and maximising every opportunity with associated products.
The dimensions of the role: You will be expected to consistently deliver exceptional customer service by thinking creatively, displaying enthusiasm, being positive and putting our customers and our people at the heart of everything you do to achieve the best possible results. You will be working closely with the Product Manager and Product Specialist.
Objectives:
- Coordinate with various existing business sales teams and customers to meet or exceed Northamber strategic objectives and set targets.
- Using existing customer base expand number of trading customers and grow revenues with primarily focus on the WatchGuard product range.
- Developing strategic relationships with partners with multiple and single decision-maker contacts within the account base.
- To efficiently manage the process of identifying, onboarding, quoting, and closing WatchGuard business with new and existing Northamber customers.
- Achieve the mutually agreed, shared targets across the WatchGuard product split.
- Where an opportunity exists introduce other divisions from Northamber into the accounts.
- Drive and communicate vendor or Northamber promotions within our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering an expert service in your field.
- Delivering against organisational and personal KPI’s including revenue, margin, and activity levels.
- Provide training to both the Northamber Sales Team and our customers on WatchGuard, including (but not limited to) the Partner Program, Sales Tools, Promotions and Product line up.
- Developing, qualifying, and following up on sales leads with new and existing clients.
- Being engaged with WatchGuard PAM’s (Partner Account Managers) to jointly develop and grow our shared accounts.
- Seeking and sharing commercial information on competitors, to ensure that our bids are competitive, whilst achieving profitability.
- Identifying gaps in the WatchGuard and Northamber portfolio to make sure all white space is addressed and targeted.
- Ensuring the WatchGuard pipeline and forecast is up to date and accurate.
- Provide Northamber Credit Services Team a weekly report of upcoming projects to flag any potential credit limit limitations.
- Provide support to the team with preparing for and assisting in the running of Focus Days.
- Continually updating and maintaining customer information and business activity in CRM Platform.
- Providing WatchGuard with a monthly update on successes and wins.
- Attending applicable training sessions provided by vendors and product teams; requesting training for areas you are less confident in.
- Developing a positive and pro-active relationship with Sales, Product, and other supporting team members.
- Represent Northamber by attending customer site and events when required.
KPI’s:
- Customer meetings (either F2F or Virtual).
- Growth of WatchGuard unmanaged accounts.
- Agreed number of net new traded accounts or reactivation of lost accounts.
