This is a full-time waste management role with consistent hours, weekly pay, and real long-term potential.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manual handling of refuse bins, recycling containers, and waste collection trolleys
- Assist the driver in waste collection rounds throughout residential and commercial streets
- Load household and business waste into refuse collection vehicles
- Ensure proper segregation of recyclable materials
- Follow health and safety procedures in waste handling and loading
- Walk up to 10 miles per shift as part of active waste collection duties
Role Requirements:
- Previous experience as a refuse loader, bin man, waste operative, or recycling assistant is desirable but not essential
- Must be physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather
- Strong timekeeping and reliability are essential
