The opportunity: We are looking for a proactive and customer-oriented Product Champion to join our team. Focussed on teamSalient - our proprietary digital tool created to transform work teams - this role will act as a vital link between clients and our Client Delivery Director, and technical software team. You will take ownership of key product responsibilities, ensure clients maximize its value, and help shape the product’s evolution. You’ll be joining at an exciting time alongside other team members as we scale the use of our digital tools with new clients. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their product management career working closely as part of a core team, customers, and a dedicated technical team.
Role requirement: Full time, permanent, home-based role. You will join the vibrant teamSalient virtual community.
Role responsibilities:
- Work closely with customers to understand their needs, provide guidance, and ensure they maximize the value from teamSalient.
- Act as the key liaison between the Client Delivery Director and the technical software team, translating business goals into actionable product requirements.
- Collaborate with the technical team to refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog priorities.
- Support backlog management, sprint planning, and roadmap updates.
- Own the final QA process, ensuring all new features and updates meet quality standards before going live.
- Gather and analyse customer and stakeholder feedback to identify opportunities for product improvements and new tools.
- Monitor product performance, adoption, and user engagement to drive continuous enhancements.
Experience, skills and qualities required:
- Proven experience and track record in product ownership (Essential), business analysis, customer success (Essential), and/or quality assurance.
- Strong verbal and written communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to identify and resolve potential issues.
- Ability to translate client and business requirements into clear, actionable plans.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and software development processes.
- Passion for delivering great user (customer) experiences and driving product adoption.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, proactive, problem solver, focused on results. (Essential)
- Strong planning and excellent customer service and communication skills. (Essential)
